Job Summary

This Network Planning Consultant role involves developing and managing complex network infrastructures for critical sectors including public administration, research, healthcare, and industry. The consultant is responsible for the full lifecycle planning of network systems, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and fiber optics. Core responsibilities include creating detailed concepts, technical specifications, and service descriptions, as well as leading workshops and providing expert client consultation. The role requires significant coordination with clients, specialist planners, and authorities, ensuring projects adhere to all HOAI performance phases, quality standards, and documentation requirements. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree or certified technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, IT, or Telecommunications, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in network technology planning, strong proficiency in German, and expertise in planning tools like MS Office and AVA.
