Job Summary

This role involves critical chemical analysis and quality assurance within the Department for Contaminant and Residue Analysis, focusing specifically on veterinary drug residues, elements, and mycotoxins in food, feed, and biological materials. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the entire sample handling process, including identity checks, registration, documentation, and preparing both lab and reserve samples. A significant part of the job involves conducting residue analyses, primarily utilizing advanced techniques like LC-MS/MS, and contributing to the development, optimization, and validation of new methods. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, practical experience in residue analysis, and strong organizational skills. This is an attractive, permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week) in Rostock, offering modern equipment and structured onboarding within the state service.
