Job Summary

This role involves driving the development and optimization of complex FPGA designs, primarily utilizing Xilinx FPGAs and hardware description languages like Verilog and HLS. The Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing new systems and enhancing existing ones, including developing C drivers for Xilinx Ultrascale controller architectures (bare-metal and Linux). A key focus is supporting video processing development teams for military devices, requiring adherence to strict military standards throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and implementation through integration, verification, and readiness for series production. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, strong FPGA development experience, and excellent proficiency in both German and English, coupled with analytical and structured teamwork skills.
