Job Summary

This critical role as a Safety and Environmental Engineer is based at HENSOLDT, a leading European defense technology company, focusing on maintaining and improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across German locations, primarily at the Fürstenfeldbruck site. Day-to-day responsibilities involve consulting site leadership and departments on occupational safety, health, and environmental protection, conducting safety assessments of machinery, and creating mandatory risk analyses using SAP EHSM. The engineer is also responsible for performing accident cause analyses, leading internal audits and site inspections, and actively participating in the integrated management system certified under ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001. A successful candidate must possess a relevant engineering degree and mandatory certification as a Specialist for Occupational Safety, coupled with several years of professional experience in the field.
