Job Summary

This role involves the crucial implementation and maintenance of secondary and automation technology within high-voltage and medium-voltage systems for a major regional network operator driving the energy transition in Germany. The System Technician will be responsible for setting up, parameterizing, testing, and simulating data communication for remote control and station control technology. Key daily tasks include monitoring compliance with regulations, performing cyclical functional and protective testing on automation equipment, and documenting circuit diagrams and test reports. Candidates must possess a Technician or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, coupled with practical experience in protection technology, electronic measurement, and bus systems. Fluency in German and a Class B driving license are mandatory, as is participation in on-call duty, making this a challenging and essential role in critical infrastructure maintenance.
