Job Summary

This leadership role involves the technical and disciplinary management of a team of 10 Embedded Linux and Functional Safety Developers, focusing on communication, computer, and control technology for system-critical railway and embedded applications. The Team Lead is responsible for resolving technical issues, coordinating resources with Project Managers, and leading smaller projects in collaboration with the PMO. Key duties also include estimating effort for software development projects, moderating technical discussions, and driving continuous improvement of internal software development processes. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, significant experience leading a technical team, and strong knowledge of Linux, containers, C, Python, Git, and CI/CD. This position offers an opportunity to shape the development landscape within a leading provider in the Nuremberg area, requiring excellent leadership and communication skills in both German and English.
