Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Organization and Application Support Specialist to join the Saxon State Tax and Finance Office (LSF) in Dresden. The successful candidate will be crucial in shaping the agency's IT landscape, focusing on strategic IT conception, prioritizing initiatives, and leading digitization projects, particularly those related to the Online Access Law and E-Government legislation. Day-to-day responsibilities involve technical concept development for new IT procedures, conducting needs analyses, creating operational concepts, and managing the testing, implementation, and quality assurance for existing and new applications. A key focus is ensuring seamless procedure integration, documentation, and coordination of IT operations. Applicants must hold a degree in IT or a related field and possess at least three years of professional experience in IT project execution and concept development. Strong knowledge of organizational structure, process analysis, and fluent German proficiency (C1) are mandatory. Additional

  • Must be willing to work in Dresden. Minimum of 35 working hours per week. Open to candidates with a valid residence permit or settlement permit allowing employment. Possibility of transitioning into a civil servant relationship (Beamtenverhältnis) if statutory requirements are met.
