Day-to-day tasks include advising management on the procurement of new equipment and the introduction of novel procedures, coordinating external service providers for lab development, and supporting scientists in the technical planning and implementation of experimental projects. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, coupled with multi-year professional experience managing scientific or industrial laboratory facilities and deep familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the Hazardous Materials Ordinance.
