Job Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional focused on providing first-level technical support within a fast-paced environment for one of Germany's top IT service providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing all incoming technical issues via phone, email, and web, accurately classifying and logging disturbances, and providing initial resolution using established standard procedures, knowledge bases, and remote diagnostic tools. When immediate resolution is not possible, the specialist is responsible for identifying the correct escalation path, forwarding the ticket, and continuously monitoring the status while keeping the customer informed. Key requirements include a completed IT vocational qualification (such as an IT Specialist/Fachinformatiker), demonstrated experience in technical user support, and proficiency with ticketing systems. Strong communication skills and fluency in German are essential for success in this customer-facing role.
