Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Measurement Technician at a leading international automotive supplier specializing in safety-relevant structural components. The core responsibilities include the precise measurement of parts using both tactile measurement machines and optical measurement systems. A critical daily task involves generating comprehensive measurement and sampling protocols, as well as developing sophisticated measurement programs based on technical drawings and datasets for 3D measurement machines and optical systems. Furthermore, the technician will conduct strength tests on components using specialized equipment and provide essential quality support to the manufacturing and toolmaking departments when quality deviations arise. Successful candidates must have completed technical vocational training in a metal trade, demonstrate proficiency in standard MS Office applications, and be prepared for professional development, including learning programming for measurement technology. The position requires willingness to work within a 3-shift system and offers intensive training and competitive pay.
