Job Summary

This role is for a Bachelor or Master thesis candidate to support a leading automotive supplier focusing on safety-relevant structural components. The candidate will be responsible for three core areas crucial to optimizing production efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include developing holistic concepts for ergonomic and efficient production workplaces, designing material provision systems using CAD software, and creating and refining 3D layouts of production sites. A key project involves developing a modular 3D building block database for easy visualization of material provisions via 'Drag & Drop'. This position requires students currently studying engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field, possessing foundational knowledge in Lean Production and proficiency in CAD software. The role offers the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world manufacturing environment, contributing directly to process optimization, and includes flexible hours and a good chance of permanent employment upon successful graduation.
