Job Summary

The Chemical-Technical Assistant or Laboratory Technician will join the CVUA-Westfalen, a public institution focused on consumer and animal health protection, at the Arnsberg location. This is a crucial role involving the analytical investigation of animal feed and animal products for residues and contaminants, specifically focusing on veterinary drugs and PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances). Day-to-day tasks include extensive sample preparation (crushing, homogenization), complex sample processing using various extraction and separation techniques for instrumental analysis, and actively participating in method validation and verification. The ideal candidate must possess a completed relevant vocational training and demonstrate proficiency in handling standard laboratory equipment, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), and ensuring quality management documentation is precise. This position offers flexible working hours (30 hours/week) and is initially limited to 12 months, providing valuable experience in public sector analytical chemistry.
