Job Summary

This crucial role is for an experienced Tax Manager based in Hamburg, responsible for leading a 7-person team and strategically addressing complex tax issues for Holcim Germany. Day-to-day tasks involve proactively identifying tax risks and opportunities for both operational business and German holding companies, ensuring precise tax planning, and managing the effective tax rate and cash tax. A major accountability is the preparation of Corporate Income Tax reporting according to IFRS and overseeing comprehensive compliance activities, including VAT returns, tax balance sheets, and transfer pricing documentation. The manager will also coordinate all tax audits, serving as the primary contact for external auditors, and conduct internal tax training. Key requirements include a university degree in Finance or Taxation, a minimum of five years of professional and leadership experience, and deep expertise in German and international tax law, complemented by fluent German and English proficiency.
