Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the standard-compliant electrical planning and realization of large-scale battery storage systems, ranging from 3 MWh up to 50 MWh and beyond. The successful candidate will manage projects from the initial concept phase through to final commissioning, working to advance the global energy transition. Day-to-day tasks include performing energy calculations (such as grounding, lightning protection, and cable dimensioning), conducting market analysis, and selecting critical electrical components like transformers, inverters, and medium-voltage switchgear. You will also be responsible for fault analysis and troubleshooting complex systems, as well as coordinating external contractors and managing technical trials. Candidates should possess strong technical know-how and expertise in relevant technical norms and rules. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Renewable Energy Systems; OR completed Technician qualification; OR relevant vocational training (e.g., Mechatronics Technician, Energy Technician) combined with professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical planning and realization of complex energy systems.
  • Experience in fault analysis and troubleshooting on complex batteries storage systems.
  • Experience in the selection and dimensioning of large electrical components (Transformers, Inverters, Switchgear).
  • Experience coordinating external contractors and conducting construction acceptance.
  • Self-reliant execution of technical projects and trials.
