Job Summary

This role involves supporting the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) in the procurement and utilization of advanced IT infrastructure, focusing on Cloud technology, data centers (Rz), and end-user devices. The specialist will be crucial in managing budgetary documentation, driving project execution, and assessing new technological capabilities. Key responsibilities include planning, controlling, and coordinating contributions within the Cyber and Information Space (CIR) organization, acting as an authorized representative for projects in the ICU (Infrastructure and Cloud Base, User Equipment) cluster. Candidates must possess a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Communication Technology, coupled with at least three years of professional project management experience. Success in this position requires a commitment to democratic principles, willingness to travel nationally and internationally, and the ability to pass an enhanced security clearance (Ü2). This permanent position offers TVöD E13 classification, potential for performance-based salary adjustments, and flexible work options including remote work.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Communication Technology. Proof of foreign educational qualifications recognition in Germany required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of study (desired)
  • At least three years in project management
  • Experience with the tasks and organizational structure of the Bundeswehr (desired)
  • Experience with cross-sectional IT and software solutions (desired)
