Job Summary

This role involves working within Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) for the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), specifically focusing on projects related to Military Intelligence (MilNW) training systems and the Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES). The specialist will operate in a requirement owner capacity, collaborating with stakeholders to draft foundational documents for the defense procurement process, such as capability gap analyses and functional requirements for MilNW and Signal and Electronic Reconnaissance (Fm/EloAufkl). Key responsibilities include evaluating operational requirements, analyzing reports from missions and exercises, identifying capability gaps, and contributing to budgetary planning. The position requires a background in economics or business administration, significant professional experience in Signal/Electronic Reconnaissance and Project Management, and a commitment to national security protocols. Regular domestic and international business travel is required, and the role offers the potential for civil servant status (Beamter) and flexible working options, including remote work.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in Economics or Business Administration

Experience

  • At least four years of professional experience in Signal and Electronic Reconnaissance (Fm/EloAufkl) and Military Intelligence (MilNW)
  • At least 18 months of professional experience in project management using CPM/PBN, preferably in Electronic Warfare (EloKaBw) or IT support for MilNW
  • Experience in defense procurement and application of specialized MilNW/EloKaBw systems (desirable)
  • Experience in drafting and representing user requirements (desirable)
