This role involves supporting the Medical University of Lausitz, a major healthcare and educational institution, by managing and optimizing Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) technology within technical building equipment and process engineering systems. The specialist will execute minor conversions, new installations, modernizations, and maintenance tasks, including operating, parameterizing, and programming control and regulation systems. A key focus is troubleshooting MCR technical faults and contributing to energy efficiency efforts by analyzing consumption data and developing regulatory measures. The position requires participation in on-call duty, offers an unlimited contract, and provides an opportunity to shape the future of medicine in a high-tech environment in Cottbus, focusing on economic and energy-efficient operations.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician (Specializing in Operational Technology) and further qualification as a Bachelor, State-Certified Technician, or Master (Specializing in Operational Technology, Energy Electronics, or MCR Technology/Building Automation); Qualified Electrician certification (Sachkunde) for working on electrical systems; Technical and personal qualification to obtain switching authorization for switchgear up to 1 kV.

Experience

  • Practical experience in Measurement, Control, and Regulation technology
  • Good practical experience in technical building equipment
  • Experience in processing software for programmable logic controllers (e.g., Kieback & Peter) and DDC controllers (desirable)
  • Experience in creating documentation for technical system changes
