Job Summary

This role seeks a highly technical and detail-oriented RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) Engineer to support the development of robust system architectures for critical space projects. The successful candidate will actively contribute to ensuring satellite systems remain highly available and fault-free by designing redundancy strategies and optimizing reliability. Day-to-day tasks involve close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to meet and document all RAMS requirements. A core responsibility is identifying critical vulnerabilities and single points of failure, conducting systematic qualitative and quantitative analyses such such as FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Reliability Prediction. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree (e.g., Engineering, Systems Engineering)

Experience

  • Professional experience in identifying critical vulnerabilities and single point failures
  • Experience conducting systematic qualitative and quantitative analyses (FMECA, Fault Tree, Reliability Prediction)
  • Experience creating safety analyses (Hazard Analyses)
  • Desirable: Knowledge of aerospace standards (ECSS-Q Series)
  • Desirable: Experience working with analysis tools
