Job Summary

This role seeks a highly capable Communications Systems Engineer to drive the development of system architectures for ground stations within the aerospace sector in Bremen. The engineer will be responsible for defining technical interfaces between subsystems and managing satellite communication, using customer requirements as the foundation. Day-to-day tasks involve creating comprehensive system documentation, specifying the interaction of hardware and software components, coordinating development efforts with external suppliers, and overseeing the complete system integration and testing process through final customer delivery. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in Electrical Engineering, capable of abstract system-level thinking while also being willing to engage in hands-on work at the component level. This position offers significant autonomy within a small team, hybrid work flexibility, and the opportunity to contribute to complex projects for public security and defense clients. Fluency in both German and English is a prerequisite.
