Job Summary

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, Germany's largest pension insurance provider, is seeking an IT Architecture Expert to strategically shape its highly complex and diverse IT system landscape within the Joint Data Center (Berlin or Würzburg). This pivotal role involves designing an economical and future-proof IT infrastructure by leading the development of standards, technologies, and new strategies for the organization. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the continuous modernization and evolution of existing infrastructures, researching market developments in IT technology, and designing fundamental technical solutions for future-oriented systems. You will also lead and participate in work groups and project teams, ensuring the quality and development of the service catalog and portfolio. Success in this role requires a Master's degree (or equivalent) and extensive professional experience in IT architecture, covering areas like virtualization, container technology, DevSecOps, and various operating systems and security components.
