Job Summary

This role as a Windows Server Administrator involves managing and maintaining a highly complex, georedundant IT system landscape for the largest German pension insurance provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and executing core server management tasks, focusing heavily on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Windows Terminal Server technology (RDSH, RDS Deployment), WSUS, and KMS. The administrator will be responsible for creating IT standards, developing complex system concepts, performing high-level problem analysis, and implementing robust IT security and quality assurance measures. Key requirements include multi-year professional experience in relevant IT administration, expertise in advanced PowerShell scripting, and a degree or vocational training in IT. Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of higher education (Bachelor or equivalent) in IT, or completed vocational training in IT, or comparable multi-year practical experience in the IT sector.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in IT transition and administration
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Terminal Server technology (RDSH, RDS Deployment), WSUS, and KMS
  • Experience developing high-difficulty PowerShell scripts
  • Experience in creating design concepts in Confluence (Advantageous)
