Job Summary

This 2-year fixed-term position involves acting as a Scientific Associate within the Solid-Phase Chemistry cluster, which produces high-quality modified oligonucleotides, peptides, and conjugates essential for Roche’s diagnostic assays (PCR, Immuno-diagnostics, Sequencing). The role requires close collaboration with production management and group leaders to ensure products and services meet required quantity and quality standards on time. Day-to-day work includes supporting major projects—such as implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, and commissioning—and providing expert scientific and technical guidance to the three teams in the cluster. You will also ensure compliance with internal guidelines, laws, and regulatory requirements for occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance. Candidates must possess a PhD in Organic Chemistry, extensive practical experience in solid-phase synthesis and analytics, and mandatory professional experience operating within a GMP production environment.
