Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive planning, tendering, and execution of projects within the field of Urban Water Management, covering new construction, renovation, and refurbishment of drainage systems. A core responsibility is performing complex hydraulic and hydrodynamic calculations essential for system design. The engineer will also contribute to interdisciplinary efforts focused on developing innovative blue-green infrastructure solutions. Candidates are expected to independently manage and steer their projects, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines, cost targets, and quality standards. A unique aspect of this position is participation in the continuous development of digital planning processes, including the future integration of AI-based tools. Successful candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable discipline, possess several years of experience in drainage system planning, and demonstrate proficiency with relevant industry software and regulations. Strong German language skills (C1 level) are mandatory for effective communication and documentation.
