Job Summary
This role offers a chance to actively contribute to the energy transition by supporting the sustainable energy supply of Vienna. The Electrical Engineering Technician will be responsible for the on-site supervision and maintenance of critical power plant infrastructure, including steam boiler systems, steam and gas turbines, and flue gas/wastewater treatment facilities. Key daily tasks involve monitoring operational states, reporting unusual conditions, and performing fault analysis and troubleshooting. The technician will also execute electrical and process engineering switching operations and oversee maintenance and repair work. A crucial component of the job is participation in the plant's internal fire brigade team to maintain safety and security. Candidates should possess a completed apprenticeship or HTL degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, and must be medically fit to serve as a breathing apparatus wearer. High motivation for continuous professional development and strong sense of responsibility are essential for success in this dynamic environment.

Experience
