Job Summary
This Data Scientist role focuses on leading and implementing digitalization, automation, and innovation projects, including their overarching coordination within the energy sector. A key responsibility involves the ongoing maintenance and development of projects, such as the Wien Energie Energy-Dog (Boston Dynamics SPOT), and significantly contributing to the strategic development of Data Science and Analytics. The successful candidate will establish, introduce, and refine methodologies for Data Science applications, aiming to increase the automation level of existing facilities and introduce new solutions. The role requires a background in natural sciences, mechatronics, robotics, control engineering, or process automation, coupled with initial professional experience handling real-time sensor data, control system data, and Big Data technologies. Strong programming skills (R, Python, Matlab) and a solution-oriented, communicative approach are essential for effective collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.

Experience
