Job Summary

This Senior Specialist role focuses on the critical system design and continuous evolution of the railway's operational telecommunications platform, FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System), leveraging 5G Core technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning of platform topology and technologies, defining capacity and functionality based on customer requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve evaluating system specifications for availability, performance, IT security, and cost-efficiency, while also analyzing and integrating international standards (3GPP, ETSI, UIC). A core responsibility is creating the system design for the 5G mobile radio system and the MC service layer, ensuring alignment with the overall telecommunications strategy.
