Job Summary

As an IT Operations Engineer for Cloud Applications at Deloitte, you will ensure the reliable and stable operation of critical client applications by leveraging your expertise in cloud environments. Your daily responsibilities include continuous monitoring of applications and the associated cloud infrastructure, initiating rapid measures for disturbance resolution, and managing incidents according to defined severity levels and SLAs. A key focus of this role is the deployment of new software releases, managing rollouts, and executing planned maintenance within specific windows. You will also significantly contribute to efficiency gains by developing and optimizing automation processes for operations, monitoring, and deployment, alongside maintaining comprehensive operational documentation. This role requires a relevant technical degree, at least two years of cloud operations experience, and proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Public Cloud infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Information Technology, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable technical/natural science degree.

Experience

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in the cloud environment
  • Experience in operating Public Cloud infrastructures
  • Routine handling of Incident and Problem Management processes
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in continuous improvement of processes and tools
