Job Summary

This role involves the independent commissioning, functional testing, and acceptance testing of complex, microprocessor-controlled systems, including advanced vacuum, crystal growth, metrology, and plasma technologies. The work is performed both at the Jena site and globally at customer locations. Key responsibilities include the technical coordination of assembly and testing processes in close collaboration with clients, as well as creating and processing detailed testing and acceptance documentation based on contractual specifications. A crucial component of the job is providing technical instruction and training to customer personnel to ensure the seamless operation of the installed systems. Candidates must have completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Electrics, possess strong knowledge of electrical and control technology (PLC/SPS), and demonstrate proficiency in technical documentation and customer support. International travel readiness is mandatory for this challenging and globally focused position.
