Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious System and Sales Engineer specializing in Energy Technology and Simulation, responsible for connecting technologies and delivering complex projects globally. Day-to-day tasks include conducting measurements and simulations to prepare customer projects, managing the technical and commercial processing of proposals for complex systems, and overseeing project execution through to commissioning at the client site. The position requires presenting technical results to international customers and actively building an international network, with opportunities to expand into new markets (e.g., South Asia, USA). Key requirements include an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and a very strong understanding of high voltage, medium voltage, and power electronics. The position is attractive due to its global scope, involvement in product development, and the opportunity to drive technical innovation for industrial clients.

Required Skills

Education

Master's, Diploma, or PhD in Electrical Engineering; or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering plus a Master's degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering)

Experience

  • Professional experience supporting colleagues with long-standing know-how and expertise
  • Professional experience in conducting measurements and simulations for customer projects
  • Professional experience in technical and commercial proposal processing
  • Experience with project execution up to customer commissioning
  • Experience interacting with tool manufacturers (e.g., DIgSILENT) is preferred
