Job Summary

This role as a System Administrator involves ensuring the seamless and secure operation of the company's IT infrastructure within the Syringes Systems Business Unit, a key division of Gerresheimer serving the pharma and medtech sectors. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a high-performing IT environment, managing data backup and security systems, and conducting proactive troubleshooting and continuous optimization. The specialist will be responsible for the administration of networks, clients, servers, and peripheral devices. A critical aspect of the job is acting as the primary point of contact for IT technical matters for both office and manufacturing staff, ensuring the functionality of all local hardware and software. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, paired with at least three years of professional experience in a comparable field. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge in client, server, and network technologies, combined with monitoring expertise and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
