Job Summary

This role involves working in a physical testing laboratory for a leading international materials group specializing in highly innovative polymer materials, specifically thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU). The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for executing quality assurance measures, conducting mechanical and analytical tests, and ensuring production control within a team environment. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing test specimens and films from TPU granules using injection molding machines or film extruders, meticulously logging and evaluating measurement data according to quality standards, and maintaining laboratory equipment and associated software solutions. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of LIMS and analytical software, and strong manual dexterity. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring shift work (early/late shifts) and excellent German language skills.
