Job Summary

This role seeks a Junior AIT Engineer to contribute to the future of aerospace, working closely with Airbus DS GmbH on satellite projects in Immenstaad. The primary focus is on electrical integration within the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) environment. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing electrical interfaces at the satellite level, developing detailed electrical integration procedures, and operating/commanding the satellite or simulator. The engineer will conduct hands-on electrical integration and test activities, support functional testing, manage documentation of results, and assist in error tracking via the NCR process. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Aerospace, and possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in IT or Information Systems. Fluency in English is mandatory, along with basic German skills and knowledge of the ECSS standard. This unique position requires flexibility, including potential shift work and extended travel (up to 1-2 months) for environmental and launch campaigns in locations such as the USA or French Guiana.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in IT / Information Systems
  • Testing experience in electrical integration on satellites (Advantageous)
  • Initial experience with ESA projects (Advantageous)
