Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of aerospace and defense technology by joining an innovative team working with Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for the conception, design, and implementation of scalable and robust software architectures for advanced Computer Vision systems and algorithms. Key daily activities include the selection and evaluation of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, defining communication protocols, and integrating these components into larger mission system architectures. You will ensure adherence to quality standards and architectural guidelines, analyze complex image and video processing problems, and develop innovative solutions. The position requires a degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science or Electrical Engineering), professional experience in Computer Vision architecture or development, and strong technical knowledge of image processing techniques, including 3D reconstruction and object recognition. Fluency in German and basic English are necessary, alongside strong analytical and collaboration skills to drive continuous process improvement.

Experience
