Job Summary

This role offers a Chemical Laboratory Technician the chance to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg through a temporary contract, managed via temporary employment services, with a strong focus on eventual permanent takeover. The day-to-day responsibilities involve core laboratory activities, including the preparation and filling of batches/solutions using both manual and mechanical processes. Key tasks include classic wet chemistry work such as weighing, dissolving substances, adjusting pH values, and primarily handling chemicals like alkalis, salts, and acids, rather than human materials. The role also requires inventory management and the creation of lists based on instructions. Ideal candidates must possess a successfully completed vocational qualification as a Chemical or Biological Laboratory Technician, demonstrate strong teamwork skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex relationships. Prior experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or cleanroom environment, which necessitates meticulous and conscientious work, is highly advantageous, along with basic English language skills.
