Job Summary

This role involves leading the analytical laboratory for a prominent manufacturer of tea blends, Florapharm Pflanzliche Naturprodukte GmbH, focusing heavily on instrumental analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the lab, primarily utilizing GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS systems, and overseeing the revalidation and implementation of existing and new testing methods. Daily duties include the commissioning, maintenance, and care of sophisticated analytical instruments, developing procedures for determining pesticide residues, contaminants, and plant ingredients, and generating comprehensive test reports. This position requires a degree in Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or Food Chemistry, or a related technical background with significant experience in laboratory management and hands-on expertise with advanced mass spectrometry systems.
