Job Summary

This role is for a Head of Analytics to lead the establishment and operation of an in-house laboratory specializing in instrumental analysis for a leading manufacturer of tea blends. The professional will be responsible for setting up the lab, primarily utilizing GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS systems, and managing their commissioning, maintenance, and care. Key activities include revalidating existing test methods, implementing new analytical procedures for determining pesticide residues, contaminants, and plant ingredients, and generating comprehensive test reports. Candidates must possess a degree in Chemistry, Bioanalytics, Food Chemistry, or a related field, or have extensive chemical-technical training combined with multi-year experience in laboratory management. Practical experience with GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS systems is essential.
