The specialist will primarily focus on projects utilizing resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Joint Federal/State Task 'Improvement of Regional Economic Structure' (GRW). Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing the eligibility and merit of submitted projects, making definitive decisions on subsidy applications, and drafting official approval, modification, or rejection notices. A key aspect of the role is providing expert consultation to applicants regarding project feasibility and coordinating closely with the State Government on evolving funding guidelines.
