Job Summary

This role involves taking on a responsible and structured position within Fixed Asset Accounting for the City of Gummersbach's Finance Service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive organization and coordination of all fixed asset accounting matters, including recording, maintaining, and documenting municipal assets such as roads, vehicles, buildings, and school equipment. Key daily tasks include processing additions, disposals, and transfers of assets and investment contributions, reconciling the fixed asset ledger with general financial accounting, and acting as the main point of contact for internal departments regarding investment bookings and boundary clarification.
