Job Summary

This role as Project Manager for Energy Management involves driving climate protection by implementing and optimizing municipal energy management systems (EMS) across Baden-Württemberg. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing initial, funding, and organizational consulting to municipalities, specifically guiding them through the Kom.EMS classic standard implementation. You will prepare and conduct online training sessions, lead and assure the quality of Kom.EMS coaches, and actively contribute to the technical development and software updates of the Kom.EMS process tool in collaboration with partner agencies. Furthermore, the role requires representing results at public events and ensuring compliance with new legal mandates like EnEfG and EED 2023. The ideal candidate holds a scientific university degree in a relevant engineering field and brings at least three years of practical experience consulting local governments on energy matters. Required Skills

Education

Scientific University Degree (Dipl.-Ing./M. Sc.) in Energy and/or Environmental Technology, Supply Engineering, Energy Management, or comparable qualifications

Experience

  • At least three years of practical experience consulting municipalities on energy issues
  • Professional experience within a municipality, ideally responsible for municipal energy management
