Job Summary

This role involves strengthening the digital backbone of KEA-BW, the state energy agency focused on climate protection and sustainable development in Baden-Württemberg. The IT Administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of the IT infrastructure, including planning, implementing, and migrating system and network components within self-managed projects. Key daily tasks include continuous monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of the existing IT infrastructure, performing administration, performance tuning, and backup management for SQL databases, and supporting specialized departments with database-related queries. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or comparable IT training, coupled with deep knowledge of networking, virtualization, firewalls, storage, and Windows Server administration. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or completed IT vocational training with comparable knowledge and skills.

Experience

  • Professional experience in network, virtualization, firewalls, and storage management.
  • Experience in configuring and administering Windows Servers and associated roles and services.
  • Experience in the management and administration of SQL databases, preferably in connection with CRM systems.
