Job Summary
This highly autonomous research role focuses on driving innovation in Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) IC design for next-generation quantum system-on-chip solutions as part of the DireQT project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of analog building blocks, including design, layout, verification, testing, and characterization (e.g., LDOs, DACs, ADCs). Daily tasks include hands-on lab measurements using specialized equipment and leading complex research projects, culminating in high-quality scientific publications or patents. Key qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in schematic and layout circuit design, coupled with strong knowledge of analog circuits and proficiency in Python and HDL. This position offers the opportunity to build an internationally visible research profile in a collaborative, research-driven environment in Villach, Austria.
