Job Summary

This critical role ensures the stability and safety of Amprion's high-voltage transmission network, which supplies 29 million people across Germany. The successful candidate will undergo an intensive 12-month onboarding program, integrating into the operational duty of the control center. Day-to-day responsibilities include controlling the transmission network and managing switching operations via a specialized control system. You will be responsible for isolating equipment, conducting switching procedures, performing commissioning tests, and meticulously documenting the network status. A significant part of the job involves managing operational and standby personnel, processing incident reports, and executing emergency measures during major grid disturbances. This position requires a completed qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman in Electrical Engineering, coupled with strong communication skills, quick comprehension, and a high degree of responsibility and resilience.
