Job Summary

This role offers an engineering student the opportunity to actively support the connection of Offshore Wind Parks (OWPs) to the Amprion network, utilizing crucial High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing essential decision templates, status reports, and presentations for management, as well as contributing to the review of technical documentation, focusing specifically on OWP system behavior and compliance. You will work closely with industry standards and guidelines (such as VDE-AR-N 4131) to ensure conformity. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, possesses foundational knowledge of electrical energy systems (AC grids, HVDC), and demonstrates strong analytical and structured working methods. This position is vital for advancing the energy transition and provides hands-on experience in critical infrastructure development, requiring a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week.
