Job Summary

This role focuses on establishing and maintaining a quality-assured Geodata Management system and setting up the necessary Geodata Infrastructure (GDI) for Germany's largest infrastructure operator, The Autobahn GmbH. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering, deploying, and training staff on Geoinformation Systems (GIS), managing the exchange of road-related data products, and providing conceptual consulting and quality assurance for various GIS projects. You will also be responsible for the technical guidance and coordination of the Geoinformatics team. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree in Geoinformatics or a related field, coupled with several years of professional experience utilizing industry-standard GIS software (ESRI, QGIS) and handling large volumes of geodata processing (e.g., georeferencing, transformation) using tools like FME.
