Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous, high-performance operation of a city carrier's fiber optic network within the Network Operation Center (NOC). The specialist will be responsible for comprehensive network and system monitoring, proactively identifying anomalies, alarms, and potential faults, and managing the operation and troubleshooting of active network components and the TV headend. A critical component of the job is maintaining agreed-upon Service-Level Agreements (SLA) and bandwidth guarantees. Furthermore, the role includes supporting and advancing innovative IP products such as VoIP, IPTV, and MPLS services. Candidates should possess a vocational qualification in IT or telecommunications, solid knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IPv4/IPv6), and proficiency in both German (Fluent) and English (Good). The position requires strong analytical skills, initiative in fault resolution, and participation in an on-call rotation.
