Job Summary

This role seeks a proactive Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring high standards across the supply chain, particularly within the regulated environment of medical device manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks involve taking ownership of supplier monitoring, coordinating performance improvements via Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and managing the full audit lifecycle (preparation and follow-up). You will also be crucial in defining and executing Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP/FAI) and negotiating Quality Assurance Agreements with suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) and brings substantial professional experience working with Quality Management Systems tailored for medical device production. Success requires strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented approach, and fluency in both German and English to facilitate effective communication and negotiation with international suppliers.
