Job Summary

This Materials Technician role is crucial for maintaining stringent quality standards within complex plant systems. Day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing customer acceptances, meticulously monitoring quality checks across all stages—incoming goods, intermediate production, and final delivery—and generating comprehensive quality-relevant documentation and test reports. A key function of the role is to define necessary rework measures for faulty components and conduct detailed failure analyses to effectively process and evaluate customer complaints (reclamations). To be successful, candidates must have successfully completed further training as a Technician in Materials Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or hold an equivalent qualification. Essential technical knowledge includes Non-Destructive Testing (ZfP) procedures and adherence to DIN EN ISO 9712 standards.
