Job Summary

This role involves taking the lead in the fundamental planning of operational communication networks, encompassing both fiber optic (LWL) and copper cable infrastructure. The specialist acts as a planner, project manager, and implementer for new construction, expansion, and conversion projects, ensuring the networks are future-proof. Key daily activities include coordinating and managing construction and maintenance measures, overseeing external service providers, and ensuring reliable operation and documentation of both the networks and passive system technology. A core responsibility is the operation and fault clearance (Entstörung) of these complex cable networks. Candidates must possess completed electro-technical training at the Technician or Master Craftsman level, strong knowledge of telecommunications technology, and proven experience in construction management and project coordination.
