Job Summary

This role supports the Quality Assurance department at j-fiber GmbH, a leading European manufacturer of optical glass fibers used in modern data centers. The technician is responsible for the hands-on testing and documentation of fiber spools. Daily activities include loading fiber spools onto measurement devices, determining test values, and accurately documenting results. Key tasks also involve conducting throughput tests, managing division orders, performing visual final inspections of fibers according to specifications, and preparing fibers for packaging. The technician is also expected to maintain the cleanliness of measurement devices and report or resolve minor equipment malfunctions. The ideal candidate must possess technical comprehension, manual dexterity, basic IT skills, and a strong willingness to work in a mandatory 3-shift system. Prior experience in quality assurance is beneficial. This is a stable, permanent position offering structured onboarding and competitive compensation.
