Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Design Engineer / Configuration Manager to join a prestigious aerospace client in Überlingen. The core responsibilities involve the constructive design of electronic assemblies and devices for aviation use, including detailed conceptualization and the creation of designs for NC, punch-bend, and injection-molded parts. A critical component of the job is managing change control for these assemblies, ensuring all configuration and data management activities adhere strictly to contractual and process standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accepting services from external development partners and actively contributing to the continuous improvement and development of relevant processes, guidelines, and standards. Key qualifications include a degree in a relevant engineering field, multi-year experience in design and CDM, and advanced proficiency in 3D-CAD tools like CATIA V5, alongside strong verbal and written fluency in both German and English.
